Everyone can see a glamorous Las Vegas stage show from the theater. The opulent staging, festive music and beautiful performers have entertained Las Vegas visitors for years. But few have seen the detailed inner workings or the preparation that is captured by the fascinating Backstage Tour.
You will tour the backstage area of a working Las Vegas show complete with staging and showgirls. Experience first-hand the time consuming work and detailed coordination which occurs every day before the show starts.
As an added bonus, a showgirl will demonstrate the art of makeup and costuming, transforming herself into a world famous Las Vegas Showgirl.
Special Notes:
- Each participant is required to sign a waiver/release prior to departing for the tour
- Comfortable walking shoes are recommended
- This is a non-handicapped accessible tour; back-o-fthe- house areas have steep stairwells and narrow hallways
- No one under 16 years of age allowed on tour
- Cameras not allowed
Tuesday, 6 November
Spouse/Guest Program - Trip to Bonnie Springs Ranch
09.30 – 14.30 at Bonnie Springs Ranch
(Includes transportation and admission. Lunch is on
your own at Bonnie Springs Ranch Restaurant.)
The trip will begin by traveling through the gorgeous Red Rock Canyon, once inhabited by Indians and still home to herds of wild horses, burros, big horn sheep, antelope and various desert critters.
Bonnie Springs Old Nevada is John Wayne country, a replica of an 1880's mining town built on the 115-acre Ranch. This little old mining town offers plenty of rousing, rough-and-tumble action, simulated gunfights in the streets, an 1830's melodrama complete with a mustachioed villain in its authentically recreated Saloon, a Boot Hill Cemetery, and maybe even a public hanging, with an obliging Stuntman swaying in the wind.
Lunch will be on your own at the Bonnie Springs Ranch Restaurant.
Special Note: Warm jacket/sweater and walking shoes recommended. Temperatures can be 15-20 degrees Fahrenheit cooler than Las Vegas.
