Paul Whitby
Paul Whitby is an Associate Director with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. His current responsibilities are to manage and deliver capital projects for the Consumer HealthCare Business for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. He has worked in the pharmaceutical business for over 25 years. He has a broad background of international experience in the pharmaceutical industry, starting his career in the UK and transferring to the US with SmithKline Beecham (GSK). Whitby has held several engineering positions throughout his career with SmithKline Beecham (GSK) and his recent 6 years with Wyeth. During his career, he has managed numerous R&D and clinical testing laboratory projects and has experience working on assignments for the R&D, biotech, pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare business sectors. Whitby has been an active Member of ISPE for 16 years. He is a past president for the ISPE-DVC Chapter. He is a member on the ISPE International Committee developing the Baseline Guide® for Packaging, Labeling and Warehousing and a member of the ISPE Process/Product Development Community of Practice Steering Committee.
