Bradley Kosiba
Brad Kosiba, PhD, is currently Senior Director of Research Capital Strategy and Project Management in Wyeth Global Research Facilities. In this position he is responsible for strategic capital planning and oversight of major capital projects for the research division. A biochemist by training, Kosiba has spent most of his career straddling the fence between managing bioprocess development and managing bioprocess facilities. Prior to his current assignment, he was director of the global research facilities group in Stanford, North Carolina where he co-led the project team responsible for the full scale development facility project discussed in this session. Stanford is home to much of Wyeth’s bacterial vaccines development group. Before moving to facilities, Kosiba spent 14 years managing groups in all areas of bacterial vaccine development. In 2003, he was a member of the team receiving and American Chemical Society award for leading development of Wyeth’s Prevnar Pneumococcal Conjugate vaccine.
