Thomas Hartman
Tom Hartman is the Vice President of GMP Operations, Biopharm CEDD. He started with GSK in 2001 in the capacity of director, biopharm WW facilities and systems with responsibilities for engineering, IT systems and validation for both the US & UK GMP facilities, and in support of the process development activities. Following his appointment to director US manufacturing operations, he led the building 38 GMP compliance renovation project including decommissioning, renovation, and startup of the UM CTM pilot plant. Hartman received his engineering degree from Villanova University in 1988 and has over 15 years experience in plant engineering, design and international manufacturing operations. Prior to joining GSK, he held multiple positions in the specialty chemicals industry including responsibility for generation of compliance documentation for specialty chemicals supplied to the pharmaceutical and food industries.
