Thomas Erdenberger
Tom Erdenberger is currently Senior Project Manager at Xcellerex Inc., where he manages consumables production and product development. He has been part of the biotech community for over 20 years at Wyeth Biotech, Genzyme, Repligen Corporation, Biotechnica International, Enzyme Technology Corp., and as an independent consultant. Erdenberger has managed several technology projects and acted as subject matter expert for commercial drug substance manufacturing and other areas including communities of practice, implementation of new technologies such as disposables, production improvement initiatives, contamination reduction, and technical transfer. He is experienced in a wide array of disciplines related to therapeutic protein manufacturing, process development, and technical services. His work includes bacterial, fungal, and mammalian derived materials. Erdenberger holds patents in microbial fermentation.
