Rick Gunyon
Rick Gunyon's career has focused on design, delivery, operation, and maintenance of automated equipment, including responsibilities in equipment, control system and software engineering. He has worked in advanced R&D within a distributed control system manufacturer and held technical and senior management roles in manufacturing, engineering, technical service and quality within a world-class CNC machine tool manufacturer. Upon joining Eli Lilly and Company (Lilly), Gunyon held a quality unit role on a major facility expansion project at the Lilly Technology Center in Indianapolis. His current role at Lilly is in the global quality process group in corporate quality assurance; this group is responsible for implementation and continuous improvement of Lilly’s global quality system. Additionally, he facilitates quality-related business process improvements within Lilly. Gunyon participated in the ISPE team that let the development of ASTM E2500. He currently participates in the ISPE C&Q Community of Practice and is a member of the C&Q COP Steering Committee.
