Joe Wyse
Joseph W. Wyse, PhD is the President and CEO of Coldstream Laboratories Inc. (formerly the Center for Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (CPST) at the University of Kentucky). Wyse's 19 year career has focused on various aspects of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device development, including product development, business development and intellectual asset management. His product development experience includes the formulation and cryopreservation of blood products, formulation and manufacturing of liposomal drug products, development of a novel gene delivery system, and medical device development. Wyse's business development and intellectual asset management experience has involved patent landscape analysis, technology evaluation, invention and technology inventories, valuation analysis, strategic options assessment and contract negotiations. Wyse's professional experience includes twelve years with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies including Coldstream Laboratories, the CPST, Aronex Pharmaceuticals, and Lifecell, as well as seven years as an intellectual asset management consultant with Pricewaterhousecoopers and yet2.com. Wyse received his BS in chemistry from Asbury College and his MS and PhD in chemistry from the University of Kentucky.
