Veda Walcott
Veda K. Walcott, MBA, MT (ASCP), CLS (NCA) is currently Director of Quality for Cook Pharmica. In 1993, she began her career as a medical technologist at Bloomington Hospital. After 7 years in the clinical laboratory, she began working in the pharmaceutical industry. As a microbiologist and QC microbiology supervisor at Baxter Pharmaceutical Solutions LLC, formerly Cook Pharmaceutical Solutions (2000-2004), Walcott gained experience in environmental monitoring, validation of critical systems, sterility testing, and in-process microbiological testing. In 2005, she continued her career working as a pharmaceutical microbiology consultant for Barnard Associates. Walcott graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in clinical laboratory science, minor in chemistry, from Indiana State University, and in 2005 completed her Master’s degree in business administration (MBA).
