Speaker Biography
Simon Holland
Simon Holland has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 20 years. He joined Beecham Pharmaceuticals, Worthing (UK) in 1986 and worked on the formulation development of topical and penicillin drug products. After the merger that formed SmithKline Beecham, Holland worked on the development of neurosciences drug products and has focused on the development of bioenhanced formulations for the past 12 years including an interest on sub micron compositions. His current position is the Head of Milling and Drying in the Process Understanding and Innovation group within GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceutical Development at Harlow (UK). Holland studied chemistry at Bradford University (UK) then studied for a PhD in polymer chemistry at Aston University (UK).
