Tim Allers
Timothy J. Allers is currently Manager, Worldwide Industrial Hygiene for Johnson & Johnson. He is responsible for providing global industrial hygiene leadership for the Johnson & Johnson Corporation, creating a worldwide strategy for industrial hygiene, analyzing business impacts to J&J operations and assuring programs adequately protect employees. He also provides technical input to the development of regional and global policies, practices and guidance, facilities communication of industrial hygiene best practices across business units and conducts technical industrial hygiene review of global engineering projects, company acquisitions and site program assessments to identify opportunities and provide suggested solutions. Prior to his current assignment. Allers was the manager, safety and industrial hygiene for Centocor, Inc., a J&J bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing and research company. He has over 25 years of industrial hygiene experience, including positions at Hughes Aircraft, IBM and Martin Marietta. He also served as an adjunct professor of industrial hygiene at Mercy College in New York. Allers holds a Masters of Science degree in industrial hygiene from the University of Southern California. He is board certified in the comprehensive practice of industrial hygiene (CIH) from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene.
