Gail Burnett
Gail Burnett is the Senior Director of Quality Bioanalytical Development at Genentech, which combines clinical quality and analytical development functions. She has been at Genentech for four years, during which time she has established and led the clinical quality unit. Burnett has over twenty years of industry experience in biotech, including diagnostics and pharmaceuticals, with proteins, nucleic acids, and small molecules. Her previous positions, primarily in quality, development, and operational roles involving clinical and commercial products, were at DuPont, Chiron, Bayer, and Avecia Biotechnology. She has a PhD in Biochemistry from M.I.T.
