Neslihan DelaCruz
Neslihan DelaCruz is a Principle Engineer with Amgen Inc. She has more than 15 years of experience in biotechnology specifically in the areas of process development, technology transfer, manufacturing, validation and process engineering. DelaCruz had various technical leadership roles throughout her career. Recently she has joined Amgen and worked on GMP facility expansion. Prior to that she was with Genentech for 9 years and worked on the development of various monoclonal antibodies. She has led a CMC team for development of a CHO derived monoclonal antibody for oncology indications, through pilot tox, GLP Tox, GMP Phase I process development and production. In an earlier assignment, she was the cell culture lead for the technology transfer of Xolair® from Genentech to Novartis Huningue-France Facility. She was also involved in sBLA submission and FDA approval of Huningue Facility. In her earlier career, at Fluor Daniel, she worked on biotech facility design and validation assignments. DelaCruz holds a Masters degree in chemical and biochemical engineering from University of Maryland (UMBC). She has authored multiple technical publications and made presentations in various conferences.
