John Sever
John Sever is the President of Cascade Controls. He co-founded the company in 1994 as an engineering service company serving the process industries. As the primary technology evangelist at Cascade, he sets the course of software development, ensuring integration of IT with the plant floor, and leveraging leading edge technologies for global manufacturing. Sever has 23 years of experience in the design and implementation of large, integrated industrial automation and information systems. His background prior to Cascade includes positions as a systems engineer for Johnson Yokogawa Corp., systems engineer for Rosemount Controls, lead process engineer for General Electric Silicones Division, and process engineer for FMC Corporation. Sever has a BS in chemical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute, Indiana.
