Donald Moore

Don Moore Don Moore is currently an Engineering Consultant for Eli Lilly and Company in the Engineering Technology Center located in Indianapolis, Indiana working as a global consultant on projects and issues primarily related to utilities and HVAC systems in GMP applications. His 27 years working in the pharmaceutical industry have included worldwide assignments on bulk chemical facilities, utilities, development facilities, research laboratories and pharmaceutical (sterile and oral solid dosage) fill and finish facilities in both project management and technical specialist roles. Moore has presented many times in courses for ISPE at the chapter and national levels, both as a speaker and a course leader as well as publishing a technical article in Pharmaceutical Engineering magazine. Moore is a Past President for the ISPE Great Lakes Chapter, a member of the ISPE HVAC Community of Practice Steering Team and of the Task Team that revised the ISPE Baseline Guide for API facilities. He is a Past Director of CETA (Controlled Environment Testing Association). He serves on several technical working groups within CETA, ISPE and Lilly. He currently is Co-leader of the ISPE Pharmaceutical HVAC Good Practice Guide Team. Moore is a frequent course leader and speaker at sessions for CETA, ASHRAE and the Pharmaceutical Engineering Roundtable (PER) forum for pharmaceutical end-user manufacturing companies. He has also been involved in supporting Purdue University by serving as a consultant on the bio-cleanroom design of the Birck Nanotechnology Center and as a guest speaker in a dual-level course on Cleanroom Design & Construction. In 2005, he was honored by receiving the coveted Eli Lilly and Company Engineering Excellence Award for his career-long contributions to the practice of engineering at Lilly.
