Norman Goldschmidt
Norman Goldschmidt, Vice President and Principal, Genesis Engineers, Inc., has more than 25 years of experience in delivering facilities and processes that efficiently and effectively meet business needs. He combines business acumen with technical expertise to deliver projects and services with exceptional value, speed and compliance. In his prior 20 years at Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS), as senior director of global engineering, Goldschmidt gained a wealth of knowledge in all types of facilities and processes necessary to bring a drug to market – from R&D through manufacture – across the life sciences from pharmaceutical to biotechnology and medical device. He also brings extensive experience in analysis and planning, as senior director his team managed a $600 million capital plan through collaboration with business units, helping them develop and select alternatives – applying engineering principles to assure compliance and find the most efficient means to satisfy business objectives. Goldschmidt studied engineering management at Empire State College and mechanical engineering at the University of Buffalo. He holds four patents for innovations in HVAC and pharmaceutical processing, and is an ISO standards delegate, author and instructor for ISO, ISPE, ASHRAE, and others.
