Dave McGlashan
Dave McGlashan, RA is the Corporate Director of Laboratory Planning and a Senior Process Architect with O'Brien & Gere and has been in the Architecture and Engineering profession for 22 years. He has a significant basis of knowledge regarding laboratory and vivarium design, GMP manufacturing and scale-up facilities, clean rooms, process systems, biological and chemical containment and barrier isolation. He has completed work for clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Allergan, Amgen, Dupont Pharmaceuticals, Gensia Sicor, Medtronic, Sony, Micron Technologies, the University of California system, Emory University, the Scripps Research Institute, Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia State University, the University of Georgia, the US Army Institute of Surgical Research and the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) in Atlanta. A graduate of Texas A&M University and a registered Architect in the State of California, McGlashan has served on boards, authored publications and been a guest speaker in the Science and Technology markets for industry groups and organizations such as ISPE, The Eagleson Institute, Center for Business Intelligence (CBI), Bio Florida, the Life Science Industry Council (LINC), the American Electronics Association (AeA), AALAS, Tradeline, the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the American Biological Safety Association (ABSA) and the Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS).
