Dean Hale
Dean Hale is a Senior Engineer at Eli Lilly and Co. supporting bioproducts research and development. He is responsible for integrating new protein molecules into manufacturing facilities globally. Hale has been part of Lilly for 9 years supporting parenteral engineering as well as research and development. Prior to joining Lilly, Hale was head of technical development at Colorcon Pharmaceuticals in Indianapolis. As part of his position he was responsible for the development and scale-up of sustained release polymer systems. Hale has held research positions in Virology at the Indiana University School of Medicine as well as organic synthesis at Dow Chemical. Hale has a BS degree from Indiana University as well as a MS degree in biochemistry from Purdue University.
