Miriam Monge
Miriam Monge has 19 years international experience in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector, and is now the VP of Marketing at Biopharm Services. Previously Miriam was Marketing Director at Sartorius Stedim Biotech; during her 14 years there she worked closely with Biopharm Services to develop a holistic design and implementation approach for disposables. Monge is involved in numerous industry projects where Biopharm’s process modeling,COG and simulation platform BioSolve & BioSim are used to analyse the best fit of technologies for a given process, to analyse maximum utilisation of facilities whilst avoiding bottlenecks & cost-effective management of facilities. These tools are also widely used in process development to compare suitability of different expression systems. Monge founded the ISPE disposables community of practice of which she is chair, she is a regular presenter at International conferences & published widely in journals. Monge is a Senior Visiting lecturer at MBI biomanufacturing training courses, University College London.
