2007 ISPE Annual Meeting In Review
ISPE presented the latest in technical education, case studies, and real world, industry-impacting information for the pharmaceutical industry at its 2007 Annual Meeting at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas , Nevada , U.S. , 4-7 November.
More than 1,600 delegates and more than 2,700 professionals from the pharmaceutical industry, regulators, and academics overall attended this five-day meeting – the premier event for professionals to interact with industry visionaries, and be active participants in shaping the future of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.
More than 40 sessions – including regulatory workshops – provided information and interaction on Product Quality Lifecycle Implementation (PQLI ), personalized medicine , technology transfer , nanotechnology , real world project management, disposables , latest trends in laboratory design , and three newly-released ISPE technical documents. Charlie Portwood of Wyeth, Gary Convis of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky; and Uri Boneh, of Teva Global Generic Resources, were keynote speakers.

2007 ISPE Awards
Membership Awards honored outstanding recipients, including Bruce R. Moon who was honored with the Richard B. Purdy Distinguished Achievement Award; David W. Selby, PhD was awarded the Professional Achievement Award; Russ Somma, PhD who won the Max Seales Yonker Member of the Year Award; and Pfizer which was named Company of the Year.
